Over £1700 raised so far for those affected by Grenfell fire

Last week on Progress Review Day we asked parents, carers and students to donate clothing, bedding, toiletries, toys and food to those affected by the Grenfell fire.

We were overwhelmed by the response, and by the end of the day we needed a whole classroom to store the donations!

In addition to the supplies, we are delighted to inform you that your extremely generous cash donations on the day raised a total of £1764.78 - thank you!

This week the fundraising efforts continue, with WA’s biggest bake sale, and the non uniform day on Friday. Over 50 west London schools are uniting to wear Green for Grenfell. We are asking for a £2 donation for students to wear non-uniform,  including as much green as possible!

If students do not have any green clothes, they can wear a green accessory instead, such as a green hair band, a green tie, a green scarf or a green belt. Students are reminded that no baseball caps are allowed, but jeans and trainers are fine. Don’t forget lanyards and IDs!
