The Year 7 residential is an opportunity for the new cohort to develop friendships and work collaboratively to improve skills in communication, teamwork, resilience and risk-taking. Our partnership with the British Exploring Society has provided once-in-a-lifetime opportunities in the Amazon and the Yukon.

Our learning environment provides aspirational learning spaces for all our students both in and out of lessons. Despite our central London location, we have three 5-a-side football pitches, basketball courts, a beach volleyball court and a large sports centre.

As part of the Academy’s commitment to sustainability and to ensuring students are equipped with the tools needed to succeed in the future, each student is given a Chromebook for use at home and in school. While students continue to use text books and practise writing, Chromebooks and the Google Education suite encourage independent learning as well as collaboration over pieces of work, and enable a seamless transition to remote learning.
