Careers Programme

The WA Careers programme is delivered through Personal Development time and through the curriculum. There are events for every year group, including careers carousels, work experience, careers trips, workshops and talks. Careers-related mentoring opportunities raise aspiration and promote social mobility.

This table shows the outline of our stable careers programme. Our programme supports students to:

  • Understand progression at key stages. Explore options and understand choices in the context of their career journeys.

  • Prepare for the world of work by developing essential employability skills for the careers of the future.

  • Have meaningful encounters with employers to learn about and experience a wide range of career pathways.
