We are delighted to welcome prospective families to the school and our supportive team of staff are dedicated to making the transition process as smooth as possible for you and your child.

Open Days

We welcome Year 6 families to find out more about Westminster Academy at our Open Mornings and Open Evening. Our next Open Days will take place in July 2022.

Year 6 Applications

Year 6 applications to Westminster Academy must be made via the Pan London e-admissions system. Please visit Westminster City Council’s admissions pages here for more information.

In-year Applications

Westminster Academy is currently oversubscribed in all year groups and therefore we are not accepting applications. Should you wish your child to be placed on the waiting list, please complete this form.


Year 6 into Year 7 Transition

For information on uniform and a guide for new students, please visit our Parents and Carers page, and see the documents at the bottom of this page. 

Key dates regarding admissions and transition 2021-2022:

  • Applications online via Pan-London e-admissions (deadline: 31st October 2021)

  • Applications administered by the council November 2021 - February 2022. (There is no additional form required for WA. Criteria: Looked After Children; exceptional need; siblings; distance.)

  • National Offer Day: 1st March 2022

  • Year 6 Welcome Evening for successful applicants in March 2022

  • Year Information Evening in May 2022

  • Year 6 Induction Day in July 2022

  • Year 6 into 7 Summer School - last week of August 2022

  • Year 7 Residential in autumn 2022
