Sixth Formers experience first online debating competition

We are incredibly proud of three of our Year 12 students, Jyothi Hanumantha, Dania Mehar and Mohammed Nasser, who took part in a friendly debating competition this Tuesday.

The competition was hosted by our partner school, UCS, and was completed in a mace format. Our students took part in two matches over Zoom, with challenging debate topics on Civil Forfeiture and Dispassionate Objectivity.

This was the first competition they had competed in and they received excellent feedback and praise from the judges and organisers. Jyothi commented, “I don't mind not having won either of the debates because the experience really was thrilling!” We can't wait for the next one!
