Parents and Carers
COVID-19 and building closure
We hope that parents, carers, students and their families remain healthy and safe at this time. Please see the following pages for information on our provision and guidance during the period of school closure. We will continue to update parents and carers via email, the Academy newsletter and the website. Thank you for your support.
Communication with parents and carers
Parents and carers play a cruicial role in the progress and achievements of Westminster Academy students. As such, we encourage parents and carers to engage with the Academy as much as possible.
The first point of contact for all parents and carers is their child's personal tutors. The Academy holds Progress Review Days, Parents' Evenings and Results Evenings, and provides termly reports to ensure parents and carers are kept up to date and can involve themseves in their child's learning. The weekly newsletter will also inform families of important notifications and events.
The Parent Council is a core part of the Academy, allowing parents and carers to contribute to improvements at the school, organise events and have an impact on the education of Westminster Academy students.
