COVID-19 - Local Authority Guidance for Parents and Carers
While the Academy building was closed, Westminster Academy students learned remotely in our virtual and collaborative learning environment: WA Online. We are now looking forward to welcoming students back; please visit our COVID-19 and WA Online Guidance for Parents and Carers page for information on our return to the building in September 2020. Families are reminded that they can continue to contact and access support from the Academy via the normal phone lines and email accounts.

Guidance from the Metropolitan Police
The Metropolitan Police have shared an important message:
'We find ourselves in unchartered territory during this international Covid-19 pandemic. Whilst the majority of us are having to deal with new ways in which we live, work and educate, a small number of individuals are taking advantage of this situation and using it for their own criminal gains. There have been a number of identified scams that have been posted to online social media and mobile phone direct messaging platforms, shared by email and door to door contact. We would like to encourage both parents/carers and students alike to stop, think and research the authenticity prior to engaging with or re-posting any message in order to prevent becoming a victim of this criminal activity. You can find our Little Book of Cyber Scams and animation videos for online safety and fraud prevention at www.met.police.uk/littlemedia.'
