The IB visits WA again to learn about our Career-Related Programme

The International Baccalaureate Career-Related PrograCp3mme is a wonderful post-16 vocational pathway that has always been popular and successful at Westminster Academy. Today, we were delighted to host Camelia Constantinescu, the CP's Curriculum Manager, who heard from WA students and teachers about their experiences in the programme. It was inspiring to hear the students' appreciation of what the IBCP offers them that BTEC courses, alone, cannot.

Currently, the prospect of BTEC defunding still casts a shadow over the future of the IBCP in the UK so I can only hope that Gillian Keegan and others at the Department for Education are sufficiently well-informed to ensure that the IBCP thrives in the UK.
