English as an Additional Language

At Westminster Academy, we deeply value the rich linguistic and cultural diversity that students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) bring to our school community. We know that multilingualism is a significant asset, enriching the learning experience for all. Our commitment is to ensure that every EAL student feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to achieve their full academic and personal potential.

We strive to create an inclusive environment where EAL learners can confidently develop their English language proficiency while fully accessing a broad and balanced curriculum. We foster high aspirations for all our students, recognising and building upon their unique strengths and prior knowledge.
